Seasons of Service
Just as the Earth turns, so do we. We are not designed to live in constant outward service — always giving, producing, and holding space. We are cyclical beings, called to move with the great spiral of life, where rest, renewal, creation, and release each have their sacred place.
🌑 Winter – In this season, my body craves stillness. I turn inward, serving myself through presence, integration, and deep rest. It is a descent, a time to meet the parts of myself that long to be revealed and integrated.
🌱 Spring – From the void, energy rises. I blossom, bloom, and support others in their own resurrection. This is a season of emergence, of fresh life and inspiration.
☀️ Summer – The abundance cultivated in stillness now overflows. Play, joy, and creativity burst forth. This is a time for experience, expression, and sharing with the wider world. Summer fills me, sustains me, and prepares me for the descent to come.
🍂 Autumn – A sacred space of release. I hold others as they surrender to endings, letting go in preparation for the death and decay that winter brings. Here, the spiral reminds us that release is as vital as creation.
🌑 Winter (again) – The cycle closes and begins again. Another descent. Another inward journey. Another moment of honouring presence above performance.
Our ancestors understood this way of living — in harmony with the Earth’s turning, in deep attunement to cycles of creativity, rest, and rebirth. Yet, in our modern world, we’ve forgotten. We’ve been taught to always be “on,” always giving, always producing.
But wholeness comes when we honour the full spectrum of the seasons — both within and without. When you journey with me, you align your inner seasons with the Earth’s outer ones. Your micro meets the macro, and you remember yourself as a cyclical, sovereign being.
This is the way of true service. This is the path of wholeness. 🌿
